1. Introduction

This Return and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which you may return products purchased from our website and details how refunds are processed.

This Return and Refund policy is an integral part of the legal agreements between SIA “Home Hube” (“Home Hube”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the customer (“customer", “you”, or “your”). Our operations and services are governed not only by our Return and Refund policy but also by our comprehensive policies, each designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and a superior customer experience:

Please read this policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations when returning products. By making a purchase with us, you agree to the conditions outlined in this policy. Should there be any updates or changes to this policy, customers will be notified accordingly.

2.     Right of Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, you have the right to withdraw from this Contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods. Withdrawal rights do not apply if the buyer is a legal entity.

To exercise the 14-day right of withdrawal, the goods may only be used for their intended purposes, and the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period. If the goods are inappropriately used, damaged, treated carelessly during use, or if instructions are not followed, if the original packaging is lost, or if the packaging is significantly damaged, the online store has the right to reduce the refundable amount according to the depreciation of the product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (email: info@homehube.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by sending a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the contract withdrawal form template below, but this is not mandatory.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you can submit a withdrawal form, which can be found here: https://homehube.com/policies/refund-policy (Appendix 1 (English) or Appendix 2 (Latvian)), by sending it to the email address info@homehube.com within 14 days of receiving the goods.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Jurmalas gatve 100-k1-61, Riga, Latvia, post code: LV-1029.

Please note that you will be responsible for covering the cost of returning the goods to us. Home Hube will not bear the cost of return shipping in the case of withdrawal under the 14-day cooling-off period, and this responsibility lies with the customer.

The customer is obliged to return the goods to the seller without delay, but no later than 14 days after submitting the withdrawal request. After receiving the returned goods, Home Hube will immediately, but no later than 14 days, refund payments received from the customer.

We have the right to withhold payment until the goods have been received from the customer or proof of their return is provided.

Home Hube is not liable for delays in fulfilling obligations, non-performance, or other types of non-compliance that arise due to circumstances and obstacles beyond the reasonable control of Home Hube.

The customer may not exercise the right of withdrawal if:

  • the service provision which was commenced before the expiry of the right of withdrawal has been completed if the consumer has expressly consented and confirmed that he or she would lose the right of withdrawal starting from the day the contract on service provision is completed. This provision shall not apply to the services as a result of which movable tangible property is produced. The service provider has an obligation to obtain acknowledgement and clear consent of the consumer only in respect of those contracts in accordance with which the consumer has an obligation to pay;
  • the price of a good or service depends on fluctuations in the financial market which the trader or the service provider cannot control and which may occur during the right of withdrawal period;
  • the goods are made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised;
  • the goods are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • the consumer has unsealed the packaging for goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons;
  • the goods are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items;
  • the contract has been concluded for the supply of alcoholic beverages the price of which has been agreed upon at the time of the conclusion of the contract if the delivery can only take place after 30 days and the actual value is dependent on fluctuations in the market which cannot be controlled by the trader;
  • the consumer has specifically requested a visit from the trader or service provider for the purpose of carrying out urgent repairs or maintenance. If the trader or the service provider, when arriving to the consumer premises, provides additional services or delivers goods that are not the spare parts required for carrying out the repairs or maintenance tasks, the right of withdrawal shall apply also to these additional services or goods;
  • the consumer has opened sealed audio or sealed video recordings, or sealed software;
  • newspapers, periodicals or magazines are supplied with the exception of subscription contracts for the supply of such publications;
  • the contract has been concluded at a public auction;
  • the contract has been concluded for accommodation services (other than contracts for lease of residential premises), transport of goods, car rental services, catering or services related to leisure activities if the service provider undertakes to provide the service on a specific date or within a specific period;
  • the contract has been concluded for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a durable data medium and supply of digital content which has been commenced with the consumer's prior express consent to commence the service during the term of the right of withdrawal and acknowledgement that he or she has thereby lost his or her right of withdrawal, and the service provider has provided the confirmation referred to in Paragraph 17 of Regulation governing e-commerce, distance contracts, and consumer rights. The service provider has an obligation to obtain the consumer's acknowledgement and express consent only in respect of those contracts in accordance with which the consumer has an obligation to pay.

3. Exchange and Return of Goods if Incorrect Goods are Delivered

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If incorrect goods are delivered to the customer, the customer must immediately, but no later than within 7 days, inform Home Hube by emailing info@homehube.com or calling +371 28872902. Upon receiving information about incorrectly delivered goods, we undertake to collect such goods at our own expense and replace them with the correct goods. If Home Hube does not have the ordered goods, we will refund the customer the amount paid for the item(s). The refund will be issued to the Customer immediately, but no later than within 14 days after Hume Hube receives the Customers notification about the incorrectly delivered goods. If the customer has not returned the goods to Home Hube, the period mentioned in this clause starts from the date the goods are returned to Home Hube.

4.  Consumer Rights Regarding Non-Conforming Products

Home Hube is responsible for any non-conformity or defect in the products sold to the customer that arises within 2 years from the date of delivery to the customer, or if it existed at the time of delivery, provided this assumption is not contrary to the nature of the goods or defect. The customer must inform the seller of any non-conformity of the goods immediately, but no later than 2 months after discovering it, i.e., by submitting a complaint. The buyer can submit a complaint by contacting Home Hube at info@homehube.com.

If the purchased goods have defects for which the seller is responsible, the buyer has the right to request that the defects be rectified or that the goods be replaced with new ones at no cost.

If it is not possible to repair or replace the goods, Home Hube shall refund all payments made under the Contract to the customer. Home Hube will provide a written response to the consumer's complaint within 14 days.

5.  Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).

6.  Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 14 days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank to process and post the refund.
